Welcome Guide
To help you fully understand how a photo session with Claire Bunn Photography works, I have created a handy-dandy guide for your reference. Please click the button below to access the Welcome Guide. This pdf will also be included in your Welcome Email from me.
Steps for fabulous family photos
Step 1:
Let's have a chat
I will call you within 24 hours of you submitting your contact form.
During this time we will discuss possible dates for your session and where it will take place. The phone call helps me custom design a photo session for your family.
Step 2:
Have fabulous photo shoot
We will meet in your home or at your favorite outdoor location. If you don't have a particular location in mind, I will help you select a location that works best for your family. A typical session will last about 1-2 hours on average.
Step 3:
View your images
About 2 weeks after your photo session, we will meet up at your home to view the beautiful images from your photo session. I will come with product samples and other tools to help you decide how to incorporate your images in your home.
Step 4:
Enjoy for generations
Celebrate your family with printed photos in your home by displaying them on your walls or cherishing them in albums. Your images are printed on high quality paper and are designed to last for generations to treasure.

Is there a limit on how long the photo session lasts?
Nope, a photo session can be as short/long as you need. On average, a family session lasts for 2 hours. When little ones are involved, I take note of when they've had enough and we'll quickly wrap things up.
What if the weather for our session date is awful?
No worries, if the weather on the date of your photo session is awful, we'll reschedule for another date. There's no need for you to be braving the elements for family photos, this is supposed to be fun!
Can I include my pet in our family session?
Yes!!! As the owner of multiple pets myself, I understand how important it is to include all members of your family. Feel free to bring your pet to the session. I recommend you bring food/water and a nice leash.
Helpful Tidbits
Do I have to buy all new clothes for my photo session?
No at all! While I do encourage coordinating your outfits (not matching them), this does not entail going on a shopping spree to prepare. You're more than likely going to have all the clothes you need already in your closet. I'll happily help coordinate your outfits so you feel photo ready. Upon booking, you'll also receive a guide about what to wear.
What should I bring with me to the session?
Having a few key items helps make a session run smoothly. Here are a few items I suggest my parents can bring with them to a session:
- Change of clothes (esp those in diapers)
- Bottle of water and snacks
- Favorite stuffy
- Ball to toss around
What if my kid won't behave during the session?
As a mom myself, I understand the many moods of children and expect all ranges of emotion. I can typically turn that frown upside down but on the off chance that doesn't happen, we can meet again at no additional charge. However, sometimes we just need to take a quick rest with snacks and a drink and they perk right up again.

To help you pick a photographer that fits with your family, here are a few tidbits about me:
I am a wife and mom (including dog mom) to the gang in this picture.
I am a lifelong creative that spent 10 years designing hospitals across the country before shifting gears and photographing families in the Delaware Valley for the past 10+ years.
I am a laid back person with lots of patience that loves to laugh. I also love to travel, cook, and spend time with my family and friends.
I may not be the photographer for you if:
You just want to spend a few minutes to have a few quick pics snapped of your family.
You only want digital files and have no interest in printed products of any kind.
You don't want to form any type of relationship with your photographer.
MY APPROACH
Caretaking is in my nature. I want to treat your family as though they were my own. I can’t help myself. I am thrilled to get the call when your baby has arrived and you’re ready for your newborn session. I love photographing families year after year...watching them grow from new parents to seasoned vets and watching only children become the proud oldest sibling. I have developed close relationships with many of my families over the years and love to root them on as they reach new milestones.
Photography is more than a snapshot for your holiday card, but an investment in your legacy. It would be a diservice to you if I photographed your family and then handed you a bunch of digital files for you to handle on your own. As a parent, do you really need one more thing to do? Instead, I will hold your hand through the ordering process and help you make decisions that fits your family perfectly. I have collections at different price points but they all include some digital files and printed products. All images will be printed on high quality photo paper that will last for generations to enjoy. I will take care of the ordering process and deliver them directly to you.
Wouldn't you much rather have your family celebrated with a large family photo hung over your fireplace, like the image below, rather than stuck on you computer lost in digital noise?
There is a $200 session fee to secure your session date and collections start at $600.
