Every child should be have a tree to spend their childhood in.  At our last house, our narrow city street only had one tree.  Our new house has more trees then we can count, however, only one is easily climbable.  Thankfully it is right outside of our front door and has become our son’s favorite place to hang out.  I feel blessed that he has this little safe haven but also very mindful that there are so many children out there that are so not as fortunate.  I do know that when we lived in the city the streets that had the trees were always the nicest.  I can all imagine how the quality of life in the city would improve if all of the city streets were tree lined.
