It has been a year since my husband, Omari, and I attended a wedding for one of his closest high school friends, whose is named Omari also. Weddings are wonderful for bringing people together from all over the country (and sometimes world). Those reunions can provide for some fabulous energy during the special day.
The weekend started off right with a fantastic meal on the water followed by the wonderful lighting perfect for a pre-wedding shoot.
The weather for the next day was equally spectacular…every bride and grooms should be so lucky. The junior bridesmaid and flower girl were nieces and the bride and one of my favorite parts of this wedding. They were so absolutely adorable and charming that I couldn’t keep my camera off of them.
The location of the reception was ideal for me. I took place in a beautiful restaurant on the water in Massachusetts during the afternoon. The venue had great big windows and the light streamed in beautifully, which complimented the mood of the reception wonderfully.
For me, no wedding is complete without a hopping dance floor. Whether it is via DJ or band, I love it when a dance floor explodes and inhibitions are left behind. I loved some of the moves that came out of this crew…they were a blast!
Of course I had to include more pictures of the bride’s adorable nieces. They have such an amazing relationship with their parents and aunt…I couldn’t keep my camera off of them. Plus I think I have a mini second shooter in the making. :O)
One year later, Pam and Omari came to visit us in PA. We took a trip down to Cape May for the day and of course I had to take a few pics of the couple for their anniversary. They are so adorable together and I couldn’t be happier for them!
Best. Blog. Post. Ever. You are so talented, Claire; and I love being able to relive our wedding through your pictures. If I tried to pick one favorite, I’d couldn’t narrow it down to less than 10!
