Amazingly enough, I had never been to Six Flags Great Adventure until this year.  I am not sure how I made it 38 years without hitting this major attraction…esp with how heavily they advertise.  My friend has a season pass and Six Flags was offering a great deal for guest so we couldn’t pass it up.  Plus our kids were starting first grade much later than most schools so we knew that the crowds wouldn’t be bad.  A win, win situation. However, we were not prepared for near 100 degrees in September so we did have one negative factor to deal with amongst all of our perks.  Thankfully, they have a small water park area for the kids that we were able to take advantage of and did.  I used my go pro and need to add them to this post…it was a blast.  We took the wild safari on my son’s constant request.  We also did a number of small kid friendly rides.  It was a great day and I hope to go back with them again next summer.  (hint, hint my friend)
